KENDALLVILLE, Ind. – Northeastern Center recently added four new leaders and four staff therapists to its team.
Two of the leaders, a new CFO and marketing director, will serve as part of the senior management team. Additionally, three of the four new therapists were existing Northeastern Center employees who completed the training and education requirements to begin seeing clients as staff therapists.
“We are excited to see growth in our team, not only by adding new people, but also by supporting the development of current employees,” said Steve Howell, Northeastern Center CEO. “Our staff has grown to 235 people across four counties, and we hope to add more as we adapt to the changing needs of our communities.”
New Leaders
Joining the Northeastern Center senior management team are Jacques Posey, chief financial officer, and Tami Brigle, marketing director.
Posey has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, with 13 years in finance leadership. He has worked with several major healthcare and mental health organizations across the country. Posey earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Mercer University and his master’s degree in human services business from Liberty University.
Brigle brings with her 16 years of experience in journalism, content marketing and public relations. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and earned her master’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University.
Other recently hired leaders are Adam Rebber, residential director, and Adrienne Long, associate director of child and adolescent services.
Rebber has more than 14 years of experience in the human services field, including mental health and addiction counseling. He has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and special education from the University of Saint Francis, and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Huntington University.
Returning to Northeastern Center after a brief hiatus, Long was previously head of the Northeast Indiana Wraparound Program. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trine University and a master’s degree in public administration from Purdue Fort Wayne.
New Therapists
New staff therapists for Northeastern Center are Hiddi Henderson, Kathy Lard-Keith, Lee Spolyar and Jacqueline Mize. Henderson, Lard-Keith and Spolyar have previously worked in other roles at Northeastern Center but are now licensed to see clients as therapists.
Henderson is located at Northeastern Center’s LaGrange office. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trine University and has a master’s degree in social work from Indiana Wesleyan University
Lard-Keith is also seeing clients at the LaGrange location. She has a bachelor’s degree in organization leadership from the Indiana Institute of Technology and earned her master’s degree in social work from Andrews University.
Spolyar is located at Northeastern Center’s Kendallville outpatient office. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Indiana University and her master’s degree in social work from Spring Arbor University.
Mize is new to the Northeastern Center team and is now seeing patients at the LaGrange office. She has a bachelor’s degree in pre-art therapy and a master’s degree in mental health counseling with a focus on art therapy from the University of Indianapolis.
