On August 30th Northeastern Center had the priviledge of hosting Indiana State Senator Dr. Tyler Johnson at our Community Health & Outreach Center.
Northeastern Center appreciates the opportunity to share our new, life-changing services at the Community Health and Outreach Center (CHOC) with Senator Johnson. CHOC provides the home location for NEC’s crisis stabilization unit (NEC Cares), Emergency Services team, Gatekeeper services, and targeted case management. Senator Johnson is a long time friend and advocate of NEC, both as a practicing physician and now in the state legislature. Senator Johnson understands the issues and challenges with behavioral health, especially involving mental health crisis, and is committed to solutions. NEC thanks Senator Johnson for taking time to tour NEC and learn more about our services.
